The school itself is outside town close to the Indian and Australian embassy, but they have this gallery to display some of their works.
The gallery is much simpler than the galleries on the high street, but the advantages are that the artists are the same, the money goes directly to them and most importantly the prices are a quarter the price.

If you are looking for a souvenir that is slightly more unique than the tee-shirt, come and take a look here. Housed in a lovely building are art pieces such as woodcuts, paintings, sculpture. I enjoyed being able to look at some of the artistic talent of Laos and was also able to afford to buy some pieces that Montana state cost particularly liked.
I am back in Vientiane in December and will once again go to the Exhibition Hall to view their works.
