Been to Black Mountain in and brother it has changed and grown. At Montreat we met an older couple like us who told us not to wait to buy. We love to stroll through town, shop, eat and feel part of the community. Everyone is so friendly there! We did stay at Monte Vista Hotel it was nice and friendly beautiful at night but be sure you get one of their larger rooms.
