ABOUT THE ATLAS AWARD
Now in its fifth year, the Ayn Rand Center in Israel, in cooperation with the IVC Research Center, will host the 2020 Atlas Award Event granting the eminent Atlas Award to the top Israeli Startup of the year. The winning company will be selected for its excellence in creating a technology, concept or product of exceptional value in Israel and the world over the past year. The categories include:
- Aviation & Space
- Agrotech & Foodtech
- Medical Technology
- Social & Media
- AR-VR
The final criteria for submitting a candidacy for the 2020 Atlas Award be updated in the near future:
• Founding of the Company: within 2-10 years
• Total cumulative revenue: over $1 million and/or
• Company’s net worth at the most recent investment: over $10 million
Timetable:
Opening for submission of candidacy – July 4, 2020
Deadline for submission of candidacy –20 September 2020
Announcement of the Winning Companies at a gala event to take place on October 14, 2020.
Candidates for the 2020 Atlas Award will be selected following an in-depth examination by the steering committee composed of representatives of the Event partners. The eligible companies chosen will be among Israel’s most innovative, outstanding startups over the past year who meet the criteria of a ground-breaking company in Israel and the world.
Upon receipt of the competing companies’ details and their intention to participate in the contest, they will be presented to the panel of judges to choose the leading candidate to be named the 2020 Atlas Prize winner.
THE PRIZE:
The winning 2020Atlas Award candidate will be presented a statue by the internationally renowned sculptor Richard Minns, depicting an unprecedented image of the mythological Atlas hoisting up the world, as a tribute to exceptional achievement.
