For many projects specifically animals , you must be signed up for the project in advance in 4honline when you enrolled or re-enrolled in 4-H; but for other projects such as many of the Static, or non-animal projects , you don't necessarily have to be in a club for that project to enter something in the fair.
So maybe try something new, like a fun art project or a cool science experiment! So if it's fair time, your child has likely had a birthday since September 1st, making their 4-H Age and their current age different. However, just like the age cut-off to determine which grade your child enters in school, 4-H determines your child's 4-H Age Division Cloverbud, Junior, Intermediate, and Senior by the child's 4-H Age.
This method ensures that a child has been their Age Division for the entire 4-H year before competing at fair. Registering your child for the incorrect class could cause them to lose an award. Our historic and architecturally fascinating Poultry Building is home to all small animal competitions. These engaging critters have tons of personality, and are eager to meet you.
