Site 8 was so beautiful. This campground is next to the highway but it was not noisy. Campers coming and going everyday. Good cell service Verizon and location for day trips. Forks is only 30 minutes away and Port Angeles our favorite only an hour away.

If yo Stayed 4 nights here. Free with Washington State discovery pass. Very woodsy and almost no solar. I have 3 watt panels and only got 1 amp sometimes. Had to run generator some to keep batteries up, which I hate to do. Almost no one else here, so did not disturb anyone.

Cold snap, Cold snap, lows in the 20's, so had to run the heater often. Overall a quiet, secluded campground. Very clean. Saw ranger twice in 4 days. This is a very nice developed little campground. It never quite filled up while we were hear but was popular. Vault toilets, fire rings, picnic tables.

Restaurant within walking distance. A great place to set up and then go out and explore the Peninsula. A bit of road noise during A bit of road noise during the day but quiet at night. We had quite a bit of service although sometimes it got a little finicky. We loved it here. The Sol Duc River is right there for a frigid swim with the kids. The sites are spacious and have a nice picnic table and fire ring.

There is No Water and No Garbage. Easy access to many day trip locations. There was not a lot of sun on the sites for solar, so we had to leave so There was not a lot of sun on the sites for solar, so we had to leave sooner than we wanted.

Very forested and quaint. Be sure to take the loop trail hike starting at the West end of the camp ground. Mostly farmed trees, but lots of wildlife, fungus, and excellent views of the Sol Duc river. The discharge into the river on the South side is from a fish farm. Nice campground along the in Washington State. Within 20 minutes of Forks, Washington of Twilight fame that has a nice local grocery store. The location of the campground worked well for this, and The location of the campground worked well for this, and the price is right :.

The campground has a nice selection of sites of different sizes, and we found one large enough for our 5th wheel. Its a wooded area with easy access from the highway, although you will get little solar gain if thats an issue. No dumpsters are on site, so its a pack out campground. This is possibly why the area had lots of trash, I was able to almost fill up a 13 gallon bag just from my site, and around the immediate area.

Our only other issue was that the camp host site that was long term occupied ran their contractor generator one evening, it was loud enough that no one within 2 miles could enjoy being outside, their site was being kept in poor shape also which may explain the trash in the rest of the park.

Generators are fine, just not contractor generators that you cant talk over. Noise from the highway was very low. Access to the river was limited. The restaurant next door has high ratings, and is an easy walk, you may even be able to catch their Wi-Fi. Edit Video Delete Video.
