For those of you who despise vegetables, or eating a vegetarian diet, you are a lot like me!. With that being said, I kept an open mind and am sure glad I did. What a great find! The skillet cornbread was great and I am in love with the Thai skewers. The flavors of everything were so present and tasty.
And the truffles and mousse to top it off was superb. My sweet tooth was completely satisfied. I hope to be back in the area soon–I could easily see myself becoming a regular here. Though I didn't manage to snag a reservation to dine in, the curbside pickup process was SO efficient and friendly, which was great.
I was pleasantly surprised to find a vegan restaurant in Raleigh downtown. I have lived in California and I know how awesome and amazing vegan chicken and meat can be. To be honest the food didn't matched the Californian vegan restaurant but that's okay. The food comes really close to best in standard. Probably I would give 4 star to the vegan food they made but I really need to give this place an absolute 5 star to even attempt such a restaurant in place like North Carolina.
When it comes to desert they did a fantastic job of it. I ordered Tres Leches and it was absolutely amazing given it was Vegan. It was a job very well done. Absolutely superb and creative vegan cooking, and I'm not even remotely vegetarian. Best dish of chicken and waffles in town. I got a cocktail that tasted like orange creamsicle. I didn't care for it but if you like that better for you.
Beer selection was ok. Wine selection was very good. The wait staff was very friendly. There are staff waiting to take your plate when you're done and you wouldn't know they worked there because there aren't any uniforms but that was nice because they blend in.
There was live music when we went. Overall beat experience we had in Raleigh. Be mindful of parking because it seems like there isn't enough of that in Raleigh either. Absolutely amazing food, and wonderful service. They also have actual offerings for vegan, vegetarian and gluten free that seem more than an after thought that were expertly executed. The BB King was quite possibly the best bourbon drink I've ever had. You have GOT to try the food here! The seating is tight, and the menu is limited, but everything else was absolutely perfect! The staff were just the right amount of attentive, the drinks were excellent, the appetizers were fabulous, and oh my goodness those entrees!
And I wasn't even planning on dessert, but after how good everything else was, I figure even just a few bites would be worth it! They even packaged it directly in the takeout container for me since I knew I'd be taking some home.

When you're looking for a quick bite without reservations look no further than the Morgan Street Food Hall. All these places look so good!
This was our first time to the food hall. Paid parking seem to be the only option, so we parked at secure a spot parking and paid through their online portal. As an aside note make sure that the lot number is the same as the one you're paying for online.
We allowed the app the tag our car in the parking lot. It's tracking was wrong but thankfully it was corrected through their customer service some days later. The Morgan food hall was interesting. There we're quite a few food vendors to choose from. The place was really busy but still worth the travels. My only issue with the place was the size and cleanliness of the eating tables. The major eating area in the back was ram packed. I barely could find seating.
The one that I did fine was littered with small debris and crumbs from food and soiled with stains from beverage spills. I didn't see any type of janitors cleaning the tables so I found napkins and wiped it down myself.
What we did eat was tasty enough for us to decide to come back again another time. The plan is to try other vendors I thought would be good. Love this place! Best way I can describe it is a "restaurant Mall". Whatever your craving you will find here. Pizza, burgers, sushi, Mexican, Greek, southern food, and so much more.

Tried fried Mac and cheese for the first time. Not sure what the rage is about. Pulled pork wasn't very flavorful, definitely add the BBQ sauce. Fried chicken was tender and one of the best tasting things but not the best fried chicken ever. Banana cream pie was best dessert but they were inconsistent I luckily was able to try one that were Goldilock specials "just right".

Husband had the western omelette and it was very good, bacon was crispy just like we asked. Daughter had the country breakfast and everything was delicious. It was huge.
